Do I need to buy a separate Windows license?
We provide a Windows Server template with our VPS. Windows Server offers a 180-day evaluation period for testing purposes. For production use, customers must obtain a valid Windows license through Microsoft or an authorized reseller. If you already have a Windows Server license, you can bring your own and activate it on your VPS.
Can several people use it?
Yes. One server can be the always-on machine a whole team shares, for example accountants working in shifts on the same desktop software, which keeps running between shifts. Windows Server allows two Remote Desktop sessions at the same time; more than two simultaneous users need extra Remote Desktop Services licences from Microsoft.
What is a Windows VPS?
A virtual server running Windows Server, which you use through Remote Desktop (RDP) like a Windows computer that never switches off.
Can I install my own software on the VPS?
Yes, with full administrator access you can install and configure any software you need: business applications, development environments or databases.
What is the difference between a Windows VPS and a Linux VPS?
A Windows VPS runs Windows-only software, such as .NET, ASP or MSSQL, in a familiar graphical desktop. A Linux VPS suits open-source software and people comfortable with a command line.
Can I upgrade my plan later?

How do I connect?
1. On Windows, open the Remote Desktop Connection app; on macOS, iOS or Android, install Microsoft's free Remote Desktop app. 2. Enter the IP address of your VPS. 3. Click Connect and enter your username and password. You then use the server like any other Windows desktop.
What uptime can I expect?
