Prices exclude VAT. Each server is billed by the hour, and its charge for the month stops at the monthly price. The console shows the live price before you deploy.

Shared vCPU plans share cores with other servers, which keeps the price low. CPU-Optimized and Memory-Optimized plans have dedicated vCPU for steady performance under full load.

Deploy It Your Way

The console, the REST API, the rarecloud CLI, the Terraform provider and the MCP server all run on the same public API, so each one can do the same things at the same prices. Use the wizard to see every choice, script the servers you deploy often, or ask your AI assistant to build one.

Hand routine work to your agent and keep the decisions. The agent reads the plan and its price first, and the tools that order, resize or delete run only after you confirm. Give it a token with only the permissions it needs, and an expiry date if the work is temporary.

Included With Every Server

Each plan arrives ready for production, with a public IPv4 address, NVMe storage, a cloud firewall, private networking and room to resize. The extras you may want later each have one published price, here and in the console.

Public IPv4

Every server gets its own public IPv4 address at no extra cost. Set its reverse DNS from the console or the API, which a mail server needs to deliver.

NVMe Storage

Every plan boots from NVMe storage kept redundant across several servers, from 25 GB on S-1 to 320 GB on M-8.

Traffic Included

Each plan includes 1 TB to 12 TB of traffic a month, and a larger plan includes more.

Cloud Firewall

New servers start behind a default firewall that allows SSH, HTTP, HTTPS and ping. Create your own rule sets and attach them to any server.

Private Networks

Connect your servers on private networks, so databases and internal services talk to each other away from the public internet.

Resize Any Time

Move to a bigger plan from the console or the API. Your data and IP stay, and billing follows the new plan from the next hour.

Root With Your Key

Your SSH key is placed on the server when it is created, and you log in as root.

Web Console

A browser console in the dashboard reaches the server even when SSH does not.

Billing You Can Read at a Glance

Every server is metered by the hour from the moment it is created until you delete it, and its charge for the month stops at the plan's monthly price. A G-2 that runs for a weekend costs about €0.99. Left running all month, it never costs more than €14.99. Usage is invoiced monthly, and the credit on your account pays each invoice automatically. Questions Before You Deploy

How does hourly billing work?

Every server is metered by the hour, from the moment it is created until you delete it, and a partial hour is charged only for the part you used. A server's charge for a calendar month stops at the plan's monthly price, so a server that runs all month never costs more than that price. A G-2 at €0.0205 an hour costs about €0.99 for a 48-hour weekend. Usage is invoiced monthly (new accounts also get a mid-month invoice until they have paid twice), and the credit on your account pays the invoice automatically.

What is included in the plan price?

The server with its vCPUs, memory and NVMe disk, a public IPv4 address with reverse DNS you set yourself, the plan's traffic allowance, the cloud firewall, private networking, the web console and resizing. Snapshots, block volumes, reserved IPs and load balancers are optional, and each has its own published price.

How much traffic is included?

Each plan includes a monthly traffic allowance, from 1 TB on S-1 to 12 TB on the 8 vCPU plans. If your project needs more, a larger plan raises the allowance along with the resources.

How quickly is a server ready?

A server is usually running in less than a minute after you click deploy, almost always within two, and you can log in over SSH a few seconds after that.

Shared vCPU or dedicated vCPU: which do I need?

Shared vCPU plans cost less. General Purpose suits websites, APIs, development servers and small databases, and Cost-Optimized suits light, bursty workloads. CPU-Optimized and Memory-Optimized plans have dedicated vCPU, which keeps builds, CI runners, game servers and busy databases steady. Start small and resize when you see how the workload behaves.

Can I resize later?

Yes. Move to a bigger plan from the console or the API. Your data and IP stay, the server restarts once, and billing follows the new plan from the next hour. You can also move to a smaller plan, as long as its disk is at least as large as your current one. For more disk space without a bigger plan, attach a block volume.

Do I pay for a server that is powered off?

Yes. A server is billed while it exists, on or off, because its disk and IP stay reserved for you. When you are done with it, take a snapshot if you want to come back later, then delete the server and its hourly billing ends.

Is there a minimum term?

No. Servers are billed by the hour, so you can delete one whenever you like and pay for the hours it existed, never more than the monthly price.

What do I need to deploy my first server?

An account, a plan, an image and an SSH key or a root password. New accounts prepay: your balance covers the first month of what you run. Once your account has paid twice and is a few weeks old, you can deploy and pay on the monthly invoice. Every account has resource limits you can see in the console. Request a higher limit there: increases up to twice the default are approved automatically, and larger ones are reviewed by our team.

Which operating systems can I start from?

Ubuntu 24.04 and 22.04, Debian 12 and Rocky Linux 9. You can also reinstall a server, or create a new one, from one of your own snapshots. Uploading your own image and cloud-init user data are not available yet.

Can I automate everything, including with an AI agent?

Yes. The console is one client of the public REST API, so deploy, power, resize, snapshots, volumes, firewalls and billing all work with API tokens you can scope, set to expire and rate limit. The rarecloud CLI and the Terraform provider cover servers, volumes and networks. The MCP server gives Claude Code, Cursor and other MCP clients 173 tools, and the tools that order, resize or delete refuse to run until the call carries your confirmation. Create requests accept an Idempotency-Key, so a retry with the same key after a dropped connection does not create a second server. In the console you can switch off API access for a single server, which makes it read-only for API tokens and agents.

Cloud VM or classic VPS?

Cloud VM is billed by the hour and adds resize, snapshots, volumes, private networks, load balancers and full API control, which suits projects that change, grow or run for short periods. Classic KVM VPS plans are fixed monthly or yearly subscriptions in 12 locations, a good fit for a single server that runs unchanged for years. Both live in the same account and console.

Where do the servers run?

In Europe. Cloud VM runs in our first cloud region, in Bucharest, Romania (M247, Tier III), inside the EU. More regions in Europe and the US are planned.

What support and uptime can I expect?

Cloud servers are built for 99.9% uptime, the figure in our Terms of Service. Support runs 24/7 and engineers answer the tickets, so the person replying can read your logs and act on them.

Do you issue VAT invoices for businesses?
